Blandford Forum Town Team is made up of local groups and individuals who work together to provide benefits to those who live and work in Blandford, and visitors. BFTT is made up of business owners, local government, individuals and voluntary organisations.
The aims of BFTT are to: promote a thriving, vibrant and environmentally sustainable future for the town and the villages within the defined geographical area, for the benefit of the whole community, including residents, businesses and visitors.
Blandford Forum Town Team (BFTT) evolved from the Portas Review, which was part of the Government’s initiative to regenerate our High Streets.
To support the newly formed BFTT CIC (Community Interest Company), BFTT invited Parrot Creative and other agencies to bid on their project. We submitted proposals to build a new website, with an aim to turn it into a hub of information about Blandford Forum, including trading estates, and the nearby villages of Blandford St Mary and Bryanston, and Blandford Camp. The idea of the site is to curate local information as well as provide updates on their projects.

As with all of our projects, we chose to build the new Blandford Forum Town Team website on the WordPress platform. This allows for easy management of pages, listings and car parks – an ideal feature set for a town directory website.
