Parrot Creative is delighted to announce its recent commitment to the Prompt Payment Code (PPC). By joining this voluntary code of practice, Parrot Creative demonstrates its dedication to fostering fair and transparent payment practices with suppliers of all sizes. This move underscores the company’s values of integrity, collaboration, and mutual respect within the business community.

Administered by the Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) on behalf of the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the Prompt Payment Code was established in December 2008 to set standards for payment practices between organisations and their suppliers. The PPC has recently been strengthened to ensure better support for small businesses and to promote a culture of prompt payment.

Under the revised code, Parrot Creative has committed to:

  • Paying 95% of all invoices within 60 days, with an additional requirement to pay 95% of invoices from small businesses (with fewer than 50 employees) within 30 days.
  • Recognising the right of suppliers to charge late payment interest and fees if an invoice is paid late without justification.
  • Providing suppliers with a dedicated contact point for payment enquiries and clear guidance on the invoicing process.
  • Reporting annually on payment performance, on a comply or explain basis.

Parrot Creative’s decision to join the Prompt Payment Code sends a clear message to its suppliers and partners about the company’s commitment to nurturing a healthy and thriving business ecosystem. By adhering to the PPC’s principles, Parrot Creative aims to alleviate the financial stress that can result from late payments, enabling small and medium-sized businesses to grow and prosper.

“Joining the Prompt Payment Code aligns with our core values and solidifies our pledge to maintain fair and ethical business practices. We understand the importance of timely payments in fostering trust and stability within our supplier network. Our commitment to the PPC is a testament to the value we place on the relationships we have with our partners and suppliers.”, commented Kacper Jednorowicz, Managing Director at Parrot Creative

This announcement is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the Prompt Payment Code and its benefits for organisations across all sectors. By encouraging more businesses to join, the PPC aims to create a culture of prompt payments and transparency, reducing the burden on small and medium-sized enterprises.

Parrot Creative encourages other businesses to follow suit and join the Prompt Payment Code. By committing to prompt payments and clear communication with suppliers, businesses can contribute to a more equitable and supportive environment, fostering long-lasting relationships and sustainable growth within the business community.
